Princeton defeated Vermont 19-5 in a men’s lacrosse game held at Virtue Field on April 4. Nate Kabiri led all players with seven points as Princeton improved its record to 8-2, while Vermont dropped to 4-5.

The match was part of the Rally Against Cancer event, presented by Mascoma Bank. The result highlights Princeton’s strong performance and the challenges faced by Vermont during the game.

Princeton started quickly, opening with a three-goal run from Kabiri, who completed his hat trick early in the first quarter. The Tigers extended their lead with five more goals before the end of the quarter, finishing the first period ahead 8-0. By halftime, Princeton had built a commanding 13-0 advantage after additional goals from Jake Vana, Finn Fox, Carson Krammer, and Will Fuller.

Vermont scored its first goal early in the third quarter but struggled to keep pace as Princeton continued to add to its tally throughout the second half. Goldstein led Vermont with two goals and an assist for three points. Decker, Frattaroli, and Reiter each contributed one goal for Vermont.

Kabiri finished with five goals and two assists for Princeton. The Tigers outshot Vermont by a margin of 28-14.

Vermont will next travel to Albany to face UAlbany Great Danes on April 11 at Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium.
