75 percent of applicants to Champlain College were admitted for fall 2018

At Champlain College, 66 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Burlington enrolled 4,531 students in fall 2018, including 3,800 in undergraduate and 731 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

19 percent of undergraduates are residents of Vermont, and 80 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (67 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (9 percent).

The school admitted 75 percent of the 4,977 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 14 percent enrolled.
