20.5 percent of Saint Michael's College students played sports on university teams in 2017-2018

In 2017-2018, 20.5 percent of Saint Michael's College students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Saint Michael's College has 1,694 undergraduate students, of which 54 percent are women and 46 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,950 students. Of these students, 179 men and 221 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 8.7 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Saint Michael's College with the most participants are soccer (60), ice hockey (55) and lacrosse (53).
