Of the 1,145 people living in Fairfax in 2020, 46.5 percent (532) were women and 53.5 percent (613) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Burlington Standard.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 25. In the 65 and over age range, there were 52 females and 101 males.
