Vermont governor, Phil Scott, just announced that the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) has awarded $1 million to subsidize the cost and installation for electric vehicle (EV) chargers at multi-unit properties. Renters and people living in multi-unit buildings have historically found it harder to access programs that incentivize switching to renewable energy, so it's particularly great to see the state making efforts to remove those barriers.
