Rep. Becca Balint, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Vermont’s at-large district, has recently expressed her views on various pressing issues through a series of tweets. These posts address topics ranging from international military involvement to domestic disasters and political strategies.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Balint tweeted her opposition to the idea of the United States military taking over Gaza. She stated, "I unequivocally do not and will never support the United States military taking over Gaza. Developing what Trump calls the 'Riviera of the Middle East' is deeply disturbing and would mean continued suffering for Palestinians. It's unconscionable."

Later that day, she commented on the wildfires in California, highlighting their devastating impact and criticizing certain political responses. She noted, "The scale of the disaster from the wildfires in California is almost impossible to comprehend. 29 people dead, thousands of families left without homes. Yet Republicans' first reaction was to blame the wildfires on DEI."

In another tweet posted on February 6, 2025, Rep. Balint addressed former President Trump's treatment of federal employees. She remarked that "Trump is treating our federal workforce like they are the enemy...They do it to destroy government services and create chaos and confusion so that we turn against each other."
