The following day, February 10, 2025, she affirmed her commitment to protecting Social Security and Medicare funding amidst external pressures. In her tweet, she stated "I'm not going to budge on funding Social Security and Medicare. It’s not an option. I don't care what Elon tries."

Later that same day, Rep. Balint invited Vermonters to participate in an upcoming tele-town hall scheduled for February 26th at 6:30 PM. This event aims to facilitate direct communication between her and constituents as she provides updates from Washington. Her announcement read "Vermonters, save the date!
