She stated: "The Speaker of the House is instructing Republicans to stop holding town halls because they can't take the heat. It truly reveals the level of contempt they have for the needs of regular people. Shameful."

On March 6, Rep. Balint paid tribute to an individual named Rosa, praising her advocacy for working people and her influence as a legislator: "Rosa is an icon, a legend, a fierce advocate for working people every single day.
