The Grossman School of Business (GSB) Center for Student Success (CSS) will host “Careers in Real Estate” on March 8, 2023 from 2 – 4 p.m.. John and George Black, two brothers who are prominent real estate agents with Vermont firm Hickok & Boardman, will lead the discussion about navigating a career in the Vermont real estate market.

John and George will host their discussion in the Keller room from 2 – 2:45 p.m., followed by questions-and-answers from 2:45 – 3:15 p.m. and a networking session with refreshments from 3:15 – 4 p.m.

John and George have had incredible success in developing their business and brand. They visited UVM in October, and were amazed by the progress of GSB in integrating experiential learning since John was a student at UVM. He graduated in 2013, majoring in International Business with a concentration in Management. George graduated from Johnson State College in 2009.

They return to GSB not only to expose students to careers in real estate, but also to share their best practices in building a brand, relationships, and expertise which adds value to any organization our students enter. One of the many trends in real estate that John and George will discuss is the success of women in the real estate market. In Vermont, women comprise the large majority of real estate agents and are the highest-earning agents.

This event is for UVM students. Registration is not required.
