New Curator for the Public Gallery

In July, the South Burlington Public Art Committee appointed Jessica Manley to be the new Curator for the Public Gallery at 180 Market Street.  Jessica comes to the city with years of curatorial experience throughout the region.  A South Burlington resident, she is stepping down from the Public Art Committee to take on the role.  She has an M.A. in Museum Studies and works frequently with BCA and other institutions.  As a member of the Public Art Committee, she organized and mounted “In the Garden”, the group exhibit currently on display in the Public Gallery through August 27.  Artists interested in being part of a future show may express their interest to Jessica or fill out the online form on the City website.
