Former Mountain Brook High School guard Emily Straughn’s collegiate team has been invited to the NCAA tournament.

Mountain Brook High School Guard Emily Straughn’s collegiate team the Vermont Catamounts were invited to the NCAA tournament as a 15 seed.

The Vermont Catamounts ended the regular season with a 21-12 record. They are paired against the North Carolina State Wolfpack who are a 2 seed. The game will take place on Saturday, March 22 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
