On April 8, 2025, Balint emphasized the importance of due process in a tweet, stating, "If due process is denied for anyone, it can be denied for you too." She highlighted the dangers of individuals being detained and deported without due process, stressing the necessity of upholding these rights for everyone.

The following day, on April 9, 2025, Balint shared a succinct tweet, "Utterly soulless." Though the tweet did not provide additional context, it suggests a criticism, possibly related to ongoing discussions in policy or legislature.

Later on the same day, Balint addressed concerns about Social Security, tweeting "Do not let Republicans tell you they're not going to touch Social Security." Becca Balint has been actively serving in Congress since 2023, taking over from former U.S. Congress member Peter Welch. Prior to her current role, she served in the Vermont Senate from 2017 to 2021.
