Rep. Becca Balint, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Vermont's at-large district since 2023, has recently shared her thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Balint, who succeeded Peter Welch and previously served in the Vermont Senate from 2017 to 2021, continues to engage with constituents on social media.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Balint highlighted the impact of the U.S. Department of Education's support for Vermont: "This is what the US Department of Education means for Vermont: $490 million for education. Funding for 40% of staff in the state education agency. $28 million in loans for UVM undergrads. $17 million in loans for Vermont State University students."

The following day, March 22, she expressed her views on national priorities by stating that "This is the richest country in the world. Everyone should have quality health care, education, and housing."

On March 23, Rep. Balint addressed consumer protection concerns by discussing individuals affected by financial scams: "There are so many Americans like Terry who became victims of a scam that stole thousands and thousands of dollars. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was literally created to protect people and get them their money back. Trump and Elon shut it down. Infuriating."
