Rep. Becca Balint, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Vermont’s at-large district, has recently shared her views on various political matters through a series of tweets. These tweets address significant topics such as the influence of tech CEOs on political decisions, the importance of unity in defending democracy, and the ongoing fight for women's rights.

On January 21, 2025, Rep. Balint tweeted about the presence of "Billionaire tech CEOs" at Trump's inauguration. She stated, "Who had the front row at Trump's inauguration? Billionaire tech CEOs. Every decision he makes, this is who he has in mind. Bought and sold."

The following day, on January 22, 2025, she emphasized the need for collective action to uphold democratic values despite disagreements with others most of the time. She expressed this sentiment by tweeting, "I may disagree with them 99% of the time but it’s going to take all of us to stand for democracy."

Later that day, Rep. Balint addressed issues concerning women's rights in light of recent changes under Trump's administration. She highlighted that although Roe v. Wade has been overturned, advocacy for a woman's right to choose remains strong. Her tweet read: "Roe is gone but the movement for a woman's right to choose is alive and well. Under Trump, we need to be louder, not quieter, about defending this fundamental freedom. Today, we should be celebrating 52 years of Roe. But the fight marches on."
