Rep. Becca Balint, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Vermont’s at-large district, has been vocal on several pressing issues through her social media posts. Her tweets reflect concerns over public safety, disaster recovery efforts, and the economic contributions of immigrants.

On January 24, 2025, Rep. Balint expressed concern regarding former President Trump's pardoning of individuals involved in the Capitol insurrection. She stated that "Trump pardoning insurrectionists is a safety concern. These are people who beat cops with pipes and flagpoles, tasers and mace. And are now back in our communities."

Later that day, she highlighted the importance of FEMA assistance for Vermont's recovery from consecutive years of flooding disasters. She emphasized that "After consecutive years of disastrous flooding, FEMA assistance was the reason we could get back on our feet in Vermont and start the process of recovery and rebuilding. FEMA is a lifeline that we actually need more of. Not less."

On January 25, 2025, Rep. Balint addressed the economic impact of immigrants in the United States. She asserted that "Immigrants are the reason for so much of the economic prosperity this country has experienced. Immigrants' hard work, grit and spirit are what have continually made our country strong." She further noted her commitment to supporting immigrants despite attempts to "distract and divide us with hate and fear."
